The Gastronought has been around food all his life. He came into this world with greedy genes — his first word was "more" and he took a second helping of that. Exposure to different cuisines at a young age (his parents were of different nationalities and both cooked) sharpened his interest in food. He even worked in a professional kitchen. He also developed an interest in philosophy and became a vegetarian…until one day twenty years later he tasted beef, exquisitely cooked by the hands of a master…and was converted. He rediscovered his interest in food and wine and more wine. His present all consuming mission is consuming all.
He is an aficionado of the culinary arts and believes it is above all, for without food there is no art and without art…let's not go there. He has generously decided to share his thoughts and musings with the public at large in the misguided belief that this may earn him merit in the afterlife…and some free lunches in this one. "Eat to live, live to eat."
