Central has always been David Lai’s neighborhood. He is one of the pioneers who helped Gough street become the gastro-paradise that it is now. Having recently made an exit to his Bistronomique empire, Neighborhood, David Lai’s newly opened restaurant after the hugely popular On Lot 10, is coming back to Central, at an unseemly location and a different direction that promise to bring a lovely surprise.

Located in Happy Valley, Saint-Germain brings a little Paris in Happy Valley. Diners have enjoyed night time Parisien delights with a taste of authenticity away from Europe. Breakfast selections are now available 7-days a week from 10am to 12pm. Look for chef Jerome Abraham’s take on classic Toasted Baguette, Scrambled Eggs, and Eggs Benedict, among many in the fine selection of breakfast items.


A fresh addition at Jervois Street in Sheung Wan, “Foxtail & Broomcorn” features an array of noodles that are as fresh as how the shop looks, and more importantly, the shop promises MSG-free and trans-fat-free. Look for vibrant flavours with Asian influence in this health-conscious restaurant!


Following the success of his Gough Street establishment “On Lot 10″, chef David Lai is back in the spotlight with his new restaurant named “Neighborhood”, which offers an array of simple dishes with a brilliant homely twists. Signatures include “Frog Leg Fritters” and “Baby Squid/Coco Beans”.
