5 must try all-you-can-MEAT dinners

Here at WOM, we LOVE our meat. And if it’s served in unlimited quantities, we’re there! We’ve rounded up our favourite all-you-can-meat options, so that you too can get your fill.

Braza Churrascaria
When you want barbecued meats and a good time, but don’t want to break a sweat, head to Braza Churrascaria, where Brazilian hospitality meets charcoal grilled meats. You can feast like a king on a whole array of meats, carved and served tableside. We’re big fans of the Cordeiro, lamb marinated with spiced mustard, orange juice and brown sugar. Syohachi Yakiniku
Yakiniku is fast becoming one of our favourite dining activities and we like Syohachi Yakiniku for their wide range of beef cuts, as well as fresh offal and beef tongue. The beef tongue is cut thick to make the most of its scrumptious texture and the pork in pomelo and ginger marinade is just addictive. Open until 1:30am, Syohachi Yakiniku is a great place for late night meat ups. “The Whole Hog” at Rhoda
We’re big fans of Chef Nate Green’s Rhoda for their ethos and dedication to responsible sourcing. Once a month, the restaurant hosts “The Whole Hog” lunch where Chef Nate roasts a whole Wicks Manor pig. Picture continuous servings of succulent roast pork, fluffy house-baked baps and a spread of side dishes - it’s comfort food at its finest. “Summer in Japan” Buffet at The Place
Ok, so this one is less meat-centric, but we definitely enjoy indulging in skewer after delicious skewer of robatayaki at Cordis Hotel’s “Summer in Japan” buffet. Watching and waiting for our skewers at the Robatayaki station gives us major Japanese street food vibes. We also love the abundance of fresh seafood and the impressive assortment of sushi. And don’t forget to save room for the glorious Hokkaido melon cake and freshly made Japanese souffle pancakes. The dinner buffet is an even better prospect, with the addition of Teppanyaki wagyu beef, grilled lobsters and more. Level L, Cordis, 555 Shanghai Street, Mongkok; 3552 3388;

“Wagyu Temptation” Buffet at The Window Cafe
While we’re on the subject of the winning combination of Japanese food and buffets, The Kowloon Hotel is bringing Hong Kong diners “Wagyu Temptation”. Not only is there a Teppanyaki station for all the marbled meaty goodness, those who like their beef a little pinker will delight in the Wagyu beef tartare and the Miyazaki Wagyu beef carpaccio.
