What do you like most about WOM Guide or the website?

Charity proceeds raised from the sale of WOM guides, it feels good to be a socially responsible foodie.

I also love "Ask A Chef" cooking tips on the website!

Which dish do you always order at your favourite restaurant?

Carbs! Pasta and/or polenta at Italian restaurants; Inaniwa udon at Japanese restaurants; knoedels at Austrian restaurants; steamed buns (man tou) at Shanghainese restaurants; nachos at American restaurants...you name the carbohydrate, I'd order it.

What is your favourite cuisine?

Hmm...I love food too much to limit myself to one favourite. My top two are Italian and Shanghainese. And, I believe any cuisine done well can be very, very delicious.

Which restaurant is your favourite?

My favourite restaurant remains in my imagination...one with ingredients as fresh as Da Domenico's; a kitchen as competent and reliable as Gaia's or Xia Mian Guan's in Shanghai; a barista as consistently good as Caffe Sant Eustachio's in Rome; a setting as relaxing as the Peak Lookout's, etc.... is all this REALLY too much to ask?

Which restaurant do you recommend to friends most and why?

Gaia for the delicious, fresh food and the precious ambiance of the al fresco dining area.

If tonight's dinner was your last on Earth, what would you eat?

I'd revisit the foods I had (some of them ages ago) and which were so scrumptious that I still remember them... like the freshly baked olive bread in Venice; a soft bed of polenta topped with sauteed morels in New York City; steamed fresh artichoke in California; crisp, perfectly chilled Lazio white wine in Rome; steak tenderloin in Hong Kong (at Toscana, now closed); crab meat xiao long bao in New York City; a good vintage of Cos d'Estournel or Montrose; topped off with a hot, strong, creamily-frothed cappuccino.

And apparently, judging from the above, I would eat too much and expire anyway!
