Lumiere's Wine Gala

Lumiere has introduced a daily Wine Gala special during happy hour, serving 10 selected red and white wines from Australia, Chile, Argentina as well as the US. Guests can enjoy three hours of unlimited tasting for one price. In addition, there is also an array of Sichuan-style canapes designed to pair with the wines.

The Wine Gala is available from 5:30-8:30pm daily for a cost of $238 per person.

Sabatini's White Truffles

Sabatini has introduced a white truffle promotion available until the end of the month, with truffles being flown in from Piedmont.

Chef Luca Signoretti has created a selection of traditional and innovative dishes, including Bruschetta with Soft Scrambled Free Range Eggs and White Truffle; Homemade Candy-shape Pasta filled with Roman Sheep Cheese Sabayon, Zucchini, Crispy Pancetta and White Truffle; and Chestnut Mousse with White Truffle of Alba.

Healthy Cantonese

InterContinental Hong Kong’s nutritious ihealth menu is now available at Yan Toh Heen with 16 healthy variations of authentic Cantonese delicacies ranging from dim sum to dessert. The restaurant's executive chef, Lau Yiu Fai, worked closely with dieticians at Hong Kong’s Adventist Hospital’s Lifestyle Management Centre to create the menu, which incorporates ingredients and cooking techniques into traditional Cantonese cooking for a menu with dishes for the prevention of the four key health concerns  - Diabetes, Heart Disease, Hypertension and the need for antioxidants.

Dim Sum options include Steamed Eastern Star Garoupa Rolls with Fresh Burdock and Carrot Julienne; and Steamed Fresh Matsutake Mushrooms Dumplings with Chives. Main choices include Wok-fried Minced Lamb with Zucchini served in a Lettuce Wrap, and Braised Winter Melon and Sesame Konnyaku Wontons with Lemon Grass in Soup. A dessert option example is Linseed Dumplings with Japanese Sweet Potatoes in Long Jin Flavoured Ginger Tea and served with fresh strawberry sauce.

The Press Room's New Menu

To celebrate its second anniversary The Press Room has introduced some new dishes to the menu. Highlights from the new offerings include  Roquefort & Bacon Burger, Daube de Boeuf, Crab Linguine, Leek & Potato Vichyssoise and Roast Leg of Lamb. New desserts include Crepes Flambee and Creme Brulee. Complementing the menu is an updated international wine selection carrying over 100 wines with beyond 20 selections available by glass or carafe.

And, the restaurant will be offering free-flowing wine (2006 vintage) every Monday evening in November.

Game Selection

For the rest of the month chef Didier Rochat at La Brasserie will be serving a selection of game dishes. Dishes include Braised Hare in Red Wine Sauce served with Carrots, Parsnips and Mashed Potato; Poached Anjou Pigeon in a Juniper Berry Broth and Seasonal Vegetable; Roasted Deer Tenderloin with Creamy Potato Gratin, Cranberry Chutney and Black Pepper Corn Gravy; Wild Boar Stew Marinated in Red Wine, Carrots, Bacon, Paris Mushrooms and Potatoes; and Wild Colvert Duck Filet stuffed with Mushrooms, Leg in Salmie served on Whole Wheat Bread with Madera and Morel Sauce.

Megu's Hotpot

Megu has introduced a range of hot pot dishes. According to the restaurant one of the must-try options is the Chicken Mizutaki Pot. The dish uses Hinai chicken, which is known for its distinct taste. The chicken bones are boiled for ten hours to impart a full flavour and the dish is said to contain lots of collagen, which is good for the skin.

Cafe Deco's Dine and Fly

Cafe Deco Group has launched its enhanced VIP loyalty programme campaign dubbed ‘Dine Finer. Fly Higher’. Domani Opens

New Italian restaurant Domani opens on the 8th November, focusing on the cuisine from Senigallia and Ancona, two seaside resort towns along the north eastern Adriatic Coast of Italy.

The menu was created by renowned Italian chef Mauro Uliassi, whose Michelin-starred restaurant in Italy is known for its avant-garde, molecular-inspired creations. To open the restaurant will be guest chef Massimo Bomprezzi, a noted chef known for his traditional dishes. The menu at Domani will blend tradition and creativity.

Dishes include Seafood Gnocchi, with Crispy Guancialetto Ham and Pecorino; Grilled Calamari & Lemoned Buffalo Ricotta; and Caramelised Duck, Cherry Tea, Red Fruits, and Mint Lime Pineapple.
