This March, Langham Place's three restaurants invites diners to take a culinary fusion tour of abalone. Starting at Tokoro Bar, chef Hirayama will treat diners to abalone prepared in a Japanese style and offer an array of abalone appetisers: Abalone Salad with Sesame Sauce, Abalone Sashimi, Deep-fried Abalone, and Japanese Style Abalone Consommé.

Moving to the next stop of the tour, chef Tsang at Ming Court will surprise with a modern contemporary main dish: Deep-fried Lobster and Simmered Abalone with Angel Hair. Walking through to the end of the journey at Portal, diners will get to try the innovative abalone dessert: Sweet Abalone Sushi with Coconut Milk and Mango Jelly. The tour is priced at $1,588 per person, including a bottle of 300ml sake at Tokoro Bar, a glass of Chardonnay at Ming Court and a liqueur of your choice at Portal.

For those wanting to indulge in the ultimate abalone experience, chef Hirayama has also created an eight course abalone set menu at Tokoro which is also available at $1,588 per person. If eight courses sounds too much you can choose from a variety of a la carte abalone dishes priced from $138.
