Krug Room Opens to Public
The exclusive Krug Room has opened its doors to the public after previously only being open to private groups. The Krug room now offers foodies (1-12 persons) a chance to experience what only the lucky few have previously tried. The 10-14 course dinner menu (changes regularly) has been created by talented chef Uwe Opocensky. The dinner is priced at $1,988 per person, and includes a glass of Krug Grand Cuvee.
An evening at the Krug Room promises to be a unique occasion. All guests dining that night are asked to assemble at the hotel's lobby 30 minutes before their reservation, from where they are escorted to the restaurant for a glass of champagne. The communal table overlooks the main kitchens which offer views of the hotel's talented chefs in action. Chef Opocensky personally presents each of the evening's tailor-made courses. To accompany the meal, guests can choose from the largest collection of Krug champagnes available outside of France.
