Brand New WOM
To kickstart 2011, the WOM team is excited to present the new face of the WOM website. It's been a long journey from concept to fruition, but it's almost here. The new WOM website will feature a new design that highlights our hot features, a more updated restaurant database, as well as a more user-friendly restaurant searching system.

New Chef @ French Window
Having visited last December, chef Stephane Haissant is back to start the new year at the French Window as the restaurant's master chef. Haissant joined La Tour d'Argent in 1996 and went on to work under Michel Guérard and Alain Senderens. Known for mixing elements from traditional and contemporary cooking, her dishes at the French Window will include Foie Gras Ballotine with Sweet and Sour Mushroom Compote, Lanyard of Lamb with Oregano, Truffle Vegetable Barigoule, and Grilled Pigeon stuffed with Foie Gras, Button Mushroom Sangria

Sakesan Opens
From Cafe Deco Group comes robatayaki restaurant Sakesan with ex Zuma/Roka chef Andre l'Herminier heading up the kitchen. Highlights from the menu include Lobster Dumplings, Sake Teriyaki Salmon, Babyback Ribs, and SAKESAN Black Cod. Notable desserts include Sake compressed nashi - white peach sake sorbet, matcha tea crumble and puffed rice and Sorbet with three different flavours: mango schimi, lychee vanilla and white peach sake. There is also a wide range of sake and sake inspired cocktails with the bar open till late.
