La Mer's New Dishes
La Mer Brasserie has introduced a number of new seafood dishes to the menu. The highlights are the Cold Seafood Platter on a pool of ice, or the equally tempting Hot Sizzling Seafood Platter. Both platters showcase a wide range of seasonal seafood sent by airfreight to La Mer from different waters of the world, and include Alaskan king crab, tiger prawns and clams, just to name a few.
A double surprise is in store for guest, as the The Platter comes in a dinner set for two, accompanied by Lobster Bisque, the fresh Salade a la Maision to share, Triple Layer Chocolate Pot and a coffee or tea. The Cold and Hot Sizzling Seafood Platter are priced at $588 per platter and $688 per platter, respectively. Each platter serves 2-3 people. The set for two is available nightly at $888 (2 people inclusive).
In addition to these platters, other recommendations include Mussels Cream with Saffron Soup, Butter Poached Lobster on Mascarpone Risotto with Baby Leeks, and Halibut on Crushed Lobster Potato with Wilted Spinach & Parsley Foam.
Sunday Champagne Brunch
Q88 Wine Bar at the Marriott has just introduced a Sunday Champagne Buffet. In addition to free-flow Piper Heidsieck champagne, red or white wine, you can also indulge in a selection of premium foods. Included is 5J Iberico ham, foie gras, caviar, bagel station, ceviche station, sushi and sashimi, Peking duck, pasta station, and a selection of fresh seafood and oysters, and lots of chocolate desserts. Available each Sunday from 11.30-2.30 and priced at $610 per person with alcohol, or $510 without.
Joia's Antipasti Buffet
Joia has introduced a weekend Antipasti Buffet. For $248 per adults you get to choose from the appetiser and salad buffet, followed by a choice of six mains, such as Four Cheese Pizza, Gnocchi with Gorgonzola and Crispy Hazelnuts, or Pan-fried Lamb Provencals Style, followed by the dessert buffet.
Nadaman's Set Lunch
Nadaman has introduced a value lunch set menu, using fresh imported ingredients from Japan. The lunch set menu features a Traditional Ten-shin lunch set, Charcoal-grilled Japanese Pork Loin Steak set, Teppan Burger set, Yaki Sakana Zen, Salmon Steak lunch, Sirloin Usuyaki lunch and Ji-tori Nyumen. Priced between $150 to HK$250 per person. Guests who dine between 11:30-12:45 will receive a 15 per cent discount.
Le Soleil's New Signature Items
Le Soleil has introduced a number of new signature items to the menu: Stir-fried Prawns in Coconut Flesh with Young Coconut Juice; Deep-fried Mandarin Fish stuffed with Banana coated with Sesame; Deep Fried Prawn Rolls; and Pork Knuckle and Beef Shin Vermicelli Noodle in Soup. Also featured is the new 3-course set lunch menu, which has a selection of Le Soleil's other signature dishes including combination of Crispy Imperial Rolls, Vietnamese Salad and Rice Paper rolled with Superior Pork. Plus Hai Noi Beef Noodle Soup or Seafood Glass Noodle in Hot & Sour Tomato Soup or Pork Knuckle and Beef Shin Vermicelli Noodle in Soup or Roasted Pork Fillet with Cold Noodle. This is served with Vietnamese Lotus Tea or Coffee and costs just $88 per person.
