New Opening: 208 Duecento Otto

From the founder of JIA Boutique Hotels, Yenn Wong, comes a neighbourhood restaurant and bar inspired by the New York-style Italian culinary tradition, 208 Duecento Otto. The bar opens on 11 May serving pizzas and antipasti, while the upstairs restaurant (complete with pizza oven from Naples) opens at the end of May; both have outdoor seating. 208 Duecento Otto is named after its street number at 208 Hollywood Road. 

Arty Brunch

"Colour your weekend at The Luxe Manor, with an unwinding weekend experience featuring a paintertainment brunch." Set to launch on 22 May, the experience will start at Aspasia with a starter and dessert buffet, as well as choices of other brunch favourite pasta and main course dishes. Pasta options include Porcini and Black Truffle Risotto, Spaghetti with Clams and Bottarga, and Tordelli Lucchesi stuffed with Cinta Senese Pork Ragout in Butter and Sage Sauce. A choice of three main course may include Roasted Rack of Lamb with Braised Lamb Neck and Vegetable Cassuolette, Pan Fried Sea Bass with Sauteed Barba dei Frate in Mediterranean Guazzetto, and Grilled Beef Sirloin with Deep Fried Potatoes, Celery Leaves and Green Apple Salad.

The brunch is supplemented by a painting party at Gallery at the hotel's Dada Bar + Lounge.  A free flow of acrylic paints will be provided and unlimited soft drinks and juice will also be served during the painting party.

The weekend brunch will be available every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to 3pm while the painting party session will be held from 3pm to 7pm. Brunch is priced at $398 per adult and $228 per child (aged 3-11), a discount will be provided to brunch diners to join the painting party for an additional price of $250. Painting party participants will be able to bring their masterpieces back home.

The Painting Party session only is priced at $450 per person, including free-flow soft drinks, juice and canapés.

Private painting parties are also available during weekdays by advance booking with a minimum of 4 to maximum of 12 for a 4-hour session.
