How nice to have a brand new looking old BBQ pork restaurant in HK

Rennovated and reinvigorated is this place alright. The pork stays just as delicious as before, but this time with some new twists. Expanded menu item, and now one can actually sit down and enjoy the food! I am sure many locals have been loyal customers to this old joint over the past 60 years, no doubt they will be thrilled to see the owners committing to the future with this expansion!

Old Hong Kong? New Hong Kong? BBQ Pork tastes just as good

With a long history behind the name, the owners decided to (re) open the restaurant part of the operation (prevously only take away available). This is a perfect example of the old Hong Kong meets the new Hong Kong. Food is traditionally prepared, no gimmicks, no chasing of fashion/culture nuveau etc, but definitely serviced with a modern mindset. It reminds you of a timeless feeling - how the office workaholics must have felt when they munched their lunches here in the 1940's, is probably similar to how the modern era office workaholics feel when we eat here today! One thing you can't create in a hurry is history, and this place has stacks of it, surely, that, by itself grants a visit (or some)
