    Must-try - udon

    Canon88 | Oct 17 2010

Although Tokoro is mainly a robatayaki / yakitori restaurant, don't miss the udon. The soup base is delicious and the texture of the udon is a little chewy but very silky (so you can slurp it in, making that noise like the Japanese people do) The grilled dishes were seasoned perfectly - very important. Service was spot-on, outstanding for Mongkok!

    First visit

    Kung Fu Eater | Oct 17 2010

My coworker told me there is a good Japanese restaurant at Langham Hotel so I came for lunch last week.

The set lunch menu is no different from other Japanese restaurants. In fact, the prices are higher here. Then I discovered the reason is because the quality is higher. Even the side dishes and miso soup are very delicious. What a surprise! I will come back soon.
