There are many perfect combinations: chocolate and sex (both of good quality of course), sunsets over the ocean when on holiday, and baths with bubbles. One other perfect combination that involves bubbles of a different kind, is buffets that serve free-flow champagne or sparkling wine. Even people who don't drink regularly will indulge in a glass, especially if paired with a fresh oyster or succulent seafood. In the second of our ongoing buffet series I take a look at free-flow buffets, and highlight a few places that do it well.

記得年多前來過這裡的tea buffet, 這次的brunch, 感覺如一: 服務好, 環境舒適; 食物方面, 甜品出色. 熱盤方面, 這次的主角有焗波士頓龍虾, 焗鵝肝, 生牛肉他他等等.
十一時左右來到, 先要了一個清新沙拉. 除了爽甜的生菜外, 巴馬火腿配蜜瓜和哈蜜瓜都是開胃之選, 另外有青紅蘋果沙拉, 色香味俱.
急不及待地先試海鮮類: 焗波士頓龍虾, 海螺, 生虾,蟹和蜆. 大家都很欣賞龍虾的做法和味道, 從外型上看不出它是把的肉, 蟹鉗和配料重釀進去, 然後再焗. 芝士和洋蔥加上爽口彈牙的龍虾肉, 大可以大口大口地吃.
至於這次另外兩款主題食物: 生牛肉他他和焗鵝肝, 卻沒有太大驚喜. 生牛肉他他既沒有想像中的腥味, 卻帶點香草和微辣, 幼滑的質感又像鵝肝醬 . 至於鵝肝, 我倆都是一貫的一塊止.
另外, 還有以泰式和印度菜做主題的角落. 不過, 此時給我發現了”新大陸”: 在餐廳最遠的後方, 原來還有即製的窩夫和雪糕cone, 加上各式雪糕, 甜點…..不得不放棄熱盤, 改投甜品的懷抱. 二話不說, 弄來窩夫, 然後在每個格子上, 加上不同的配料: 蜜糖, 杏仁片, 朱古力漿, 朱古力豆, 綿花糖, “叮叮糖”…中間再加上雪糕, 冷靜和熱情在舌上交纏, 好不回味!
Mrs 始終最愛這裡的甜品, 更欣賞這裡的貼心服務: 為小朋友先預備好兒童椅和小童餐具. 後來發現她坐沙發, 自動換來另一張沙發坐椅. 這裡的brunch buffet, 6歲以小童是不收費的, 在用餐完畢前我們點餐飲, 小朋友認真地點了檸水. 我們見過小朋友被漠視的, 又見過回應: "要另外收費的", 而這間高質數酒店的服務員, 只殷切地回應了她, 再向我們笑笑, 最後來了大人點的, 很久沒有體會到這樣優質的服務!
這次有幸得到wom的獎品:$2000 Grand Hyatt voucher, 於是同朋友到這裡吃brunch. 在現場聖誕音樂伴奏下和友人輕鬆自在地用餐, 過了愉快的下午的同時, 又為聖誕節目揭開序幕~

Nice selection of cold and hot dishes. Everything was fresh and tasted ok but nothing stands out to be fantastic. The sofas are very comfortable but it is difficult to eat because the tables are low. Service is great.

Haven't been back for a couple years but came back recently for the dessert buffet. Such a brilliant idea, as most of the time I am too full for dessert so making a meal out of it is perfect. The wide selection of cakes, fruits, and other desserts is impressive, and most of it is of high quality. Skip dinner and come to dessert wonderland!

Used to love the dessert buffet but the choice is not as good as it used to be. However, the tea buffet is not bad at all and both savoury and sweet dishes are delicious. The live band makes it a lovely place to spend an afternoon.

My recent visit to this famous dessert buffet has been very disappointing. clearly they have been hugely affected by the economic downturn as there was an obvious lack of choices. the small tables surround the main buffet area used to be laden with cookies, chinese desserts etc are now empty. fruits have become limited to a lot less choices and the chocolate fountain with the marshmellow and jello sticks have completely disappeared. there was such a lack in choices that we had to resort to ordering savoury foods from the a la carte menu. Extremely disappointing!
