Had assumed this place was no good having passed it several times and seen few diners, but some clients and I tried it for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The menu offers traditional medium to high-end french fare; the steaks were cooked to order with palpable difference between my medium and guest's medium-rare and frites were thin, crisp and plentiful. The lack of fellow diners- perhaps two other tables in prime midweek lunch hour- contributes to a rather serene, slow atmosphere that you might find either depressing or refreshing. Fine views out across to kowloon, and some decent red wine to wash it down. Overall solid rather than spectacular, but ought to attract more guests than it does. Perhaps we caught the food on good day?
