Tea Buffet with Crispy Grilled Pork
Mr & Mrs | Aug 9 2011
Crispy grilled pork here is the “MUST”, together with beer in big bottle can spend for whole evening. And currently, we went here for tea buffet, it provided all famous food here: the crispy grilled pork, ham and German sausages. Bread, soup and desserts are also nice. It offered souffle too, however, our dessert expert- Mrs, said it’s so-so.

Authentic German food
peter tang | Apr 12 2010
It was my son's birthday evening. Three of us including my wife went there for dinner. We booked our table in advance of course. Since it was the first time for us, I asked for directions and was told to exit at J at the Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR station. But it was far from being convenient because if we took a bus or exit directly from TST MTR station, it was only a little walk across Nathan Rd. Instead, we made a long detour underground.
Finally got there. We found that the place was quite nice actually and stongly resembled some old German Resturants when we had our tours round Europe some years ago.
The waitress that served us was a Philipina and spoke only English which we were all fluent, luckily. We ordered a pork knuckle, an assorted sauasge platter and a seafood pasta with a draught beer to wash them down.
The sausages came first, and the portion was really big. The taste, however, was not unexpectedly good but great to go with the German beer. Then came the pasta. Still not much to write home about. Just OK. Finally, the star of the show, the pork knuckle, was first de-boned by the waitress before serving. It was really good, especially the crispy skin, the seasoning of the pinkish meat was just right, not too firm, and very satisfying. It was a real treat.
Being a card member of the King Parrot Group, there was a 15% off the list price.- How much did you spend?
