Citibank Credit Card Presents: Hooray Bar & Restaurant
15.11.2011
Al fresco dining is not only for early summer. Fall descends in November, as it is just about the best time there is for outdoor dining. Finding a good spot for dining under the clear skies within the city may not be the easiest task but there is no need to look elsewhere, as within the closest proximity of the bustling busy Causeway Bay is Hooray Restaurant and Bar, where the panoramic view of the Victoria Harbour is as breathtaking as it is Hong Kong's biggest outdoor bar with a terrace.

Surprisingly good venue
Natjc | Aug 6 2011
First thing to mention is the utterly lovely roof terrace this place has. Makes Red bar at IFC look small and shabby in comparison. Don't be put off having to walk through the shopping mall to get to L5. It is worth the trip!
Went for brunch one day to give it a go. Was cheap and tasted about the same. Service staff were very attentive, but I think thats becuase they were so shocked that a table of 8 had booked for their brunch, which I guess is uncommon.
Dinner on another night was a different story. I daringly took the Rib eye steak, expecting it to be average at best (due to the average food at brunch). But I have to admit it was excellent. Perfectly cooked on the grill outside, it's like going to a posh BBQ where you don't have to cook yourself. My 3 friends were also very happy with the food and we finished all our plates. The mashed potatoes are also delicious, so order those if & when you go.
BTW - will be agreat place to watch the fireworks in the future, so make sure you book in advance if you want to get a table.- How much did you spend?

Very nice, but drop the plastic glasses

Location is great, food was fantastic, service was good... But serving expensive and nice wine in plastic glasses is not a good idea. It kills the mood and kills the taste.
