Nice getaway
Sweetsweet | Sep 26 2011
In the middle of the city, what better place for al fresco than the Grill? We were shopping in Causeway Bay, and decided to get away from the hussle and bustle, and ended up at the Grand Hyatt poolside, soaking in the sun and the cool breeze. Burgers are great, as are the lemonades!

blissful day
Canon88 | Oct 17 2010
On a beautiful day such as today, brunch at The Grill is a joy, especially if you have AMEX Platinum or the Grand Hyatt VIP card. Nice food, top-notch professional and friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere. I overdosed on the liver pate and the Japanese cheese cakes. Those who like a glass of bubbly should take advantage of the $70 unlimited sparkling wine and selected cocktails. Would be even better if the salad selection were larger.

BBQ oasis
KK Sims | Oct 13 2010
Such a delight dining by the pool with a glimpse of the harbour view. The new structure next door sticks out like an eye-sore but the ambience is relaxing and maybe a little romantic nonetheless. The vast array of salad, seafood platter, grilled seafood, grilled meat and dessert is a surprise. I had not expected such abundance of superb fare. The good thing is the chefs replenish the supply frequently, so if you have a bottomless stomach, you are in luck. The impeccable service is just icing on the cake. Overall a highly enjoyable meal.

Meat and seafood fest
Heatblast | Aug 13 2010
When someone suggested that I try the meat and seafood barbeque buffet at The Grill, I immediately felt my cholesterol level rise and the need to buy a wider pair of khakis. Yet the temptation of savouring fresh seafood and an assortment of carnivorous pleasures was too much, so a group of us trekked to the poolside restaurant at the Grand Hyatt to see what it was all about. The endless flow of fairly acceptable prosecco and wine quite frankly facilitated an easy decision.
And what a carnivorous spread it was - chicken, beef, lamb chops, pork, sausages. And an equally large array of seafood from lobsters to fish, prawns to squid. Those conscious of the need to manage the cholesterol onslaught tried to balance out the meal with the wide array of salads on offer.
A very satisfying meal on a balmy afternoon, while watching other hotel guests enjoying themselves by the hotel pool.- How much did you spend?

I love this place during the cooler months
Yvonne | Sep 7 2009
wonder how they did over during the hot summer months recently, but last time I went in May, it was perfect! Very nice al fresco area. Looking forward to going again after it cools down a bit!

Yummy selection

Love this place as the selection is always yummy. Everything fresh and it's a nice change to sit outdoors. Good steak, good lamb and good salad selection too. Not one for hot Summers though!

Great Steaks!
Nic Tinworth | Jan 9 2009
Actually, a very good steak here I thought. Not your usual rubbery chaff - it was a very well cook (to my request) medium steak with a lot of flavour. I found the service very friendly and eager to accomodate. The decor was somewhat...basic but for a hotel venue surprisingly charming.
