Buffet
Happyeater | Oct 18 2011
This place is in head-to-head competition with Café TOO, which is right next door. Personally I much prefer the atmosphere here because of the high ceiling (you can see the lobby upstairs) and the floor-to-ceiling windows. The food area is not as big but the selection is more carefully selected. Found out recently that there is a barbeque section outside by the pool. It's an overload of superb food.

Disappointed
Verseater | Sep 10 2011
I know many people have complained about the lack of oysters on the buffet section but they can be ordered and delivered to your table. The selection of seafood is very decent so I am not complaining. What I'm upset about is the variety! Used to be better. For buffet, quality and quantity are both essential.

After renovation
Noodlenoodle | Aug 24 2011
I cannot tell what has been added but the natural light from the outside is what got me here. The patio area provides a nice atmosphere for outdoor dining (especially if you don't mind watching the hotel guests sunbathe or swim). The menu is more or less the same as before. I think the prices have gone up? Nonetheless, a convenient choice.

Great value for money
Charlie Brown | Oct 15 2010
With the cooler weather, it is a joy dining outside by the BBQ station. It is part of the dinner buffet. Although the station is not big, there is a good selection of items - juicy burgers, succulent lamb chops, tasty sausages etc. Service is very attentive. Our plates were removed promptly every time we leave the table for more food. It is not cheap but very good value for money. Better than the BBQ at Grand Hyatt.

Came here for the first time since the renovation. The new decor is quite modern. I really like the high ceiling and the airy and spacious environment. Dinner buffet is better than before. The choices are great and the quality of the food very high.

Hainan chicken rice
bigpaul | Oct 29 2009
Had lunch with a colleague here today and we chose the hainan chicken rice and a nasi goreng, rather than opting for the full buffet spread.
Both the Asian dishes were well prepared, and whilst not mind-blowing, they are qutie delicious.
The best part, though, is that we sat outside, and it was really comfortable in this perfect weather!- How much did you spend?

Excellent value for money

The buffet lunch is excellent value for money. The food on display is not a huge amount which means they are hotter and fresher when you select it. Good service too!

so-so lunch buffet
Joyce Chiang | May 11 2009
We had lunch buffet last week. Though the oyster is nice, the hot dishes and dessert are only so-so. the cream Brulee was even with caramel moving at the top. I can't say it's bad, but not worth for such price at all!
