Restaurant Ambiance

This is FINDS on Wyndham, a restaurant, bar, lounge and terrace giving our guests in Hong Kong a hint of Scandinavia. FINDS is European in spirit where eating and drinking are inseparable. It slips seamlessly from restaurant to late night bar where cocktails and DJ’s will keep you going through the night.

Jaakko Sorsa is the executive chef of FINDS, as well as the president of Disciples Escoffier (Hong Kong). A passionate chef, originally from Finland, he has worked in some interesting locations such as Lebanon and Bermuda. In 2004, he was planning to move to Canada or Japan, however an unexpected phone call led to a change in plans and a career in Hong Kong.

FINDS was probably the hippest place around when they opened in 2004. Everybody went there and it was party time! Then you kind of got married, moved out in the sticks, got children but lo! and Behold! FINDS is still here!
It seems more grown-up now (or is it me?) but the food prepared by Chef Jaakko who has been there since day 1 is still fantastic. Try the Mussels in fennel and aquivit, and the salmon mousse, and the lamb loin and the... its all good!
They have some entertaining cocktails and the bar seems busy all night. The wine list is good - with some really nice bottles in the recommendations if a bit pricey.
The terrace is for lounging and it is still great to be able to be outside in the middle of Central with a drink and something to munch on.
But these days I think the lunch is the best. Great salad buffet, Asian and Scandinavian mains and all you can eat. And nobody is rushing you so it is perfect for a mother to meet up with friends. And they have baby chairs - Turqouise of course from Norwegian Stokke... so kids are very wellcome at the this Central oasis.- How much did you spend?

Norwegian cool bar. Fancy cocktails and great atmosphere. Food is also good on a separate visit.

If you love fish, light, fresh suprisingly innovative food, FINDS the place to go! I had an oustanding lunch there, hard to find even in Europe (good portion sizes, too!). It is definitely not just the IN place on the weekend but also worth to visit during lunch break!
