Decadent Dining – Aspasia
10.11.2008
The restaurant Aspasia is named after the Greek beauty who unlike most women of her time (5th Century) was highly educated, consorted with leaders and mixed with some the greatest minds of her generation. She was innovative and independent. Likewise the restaurant stands out from the crowd with its innovative Italian haute cuisine in eclectic, yet elegant surrounds.

Italian Cuisine
10.06.2009
Italian cuisine has a long and rich history and can trace its roots back to at least the 4th century. Like French cuisine its evolution has been shaped by geographical and political events. Today the cuisine can be enjoyed in almost every country and is the firm favourite of many.

Roland is gone!
JOng | Aug 4 2010
Haven't been here for years but someone suggested brunch at this place so decided to give it a try. It is a half buffet, half a la carte format: buffet for starters and desserts, but you choose from a set menu for the pasta and meat course. Vast range of choices for starters, which will fill you up so watch out. The pasta dishes were not as good as I remember but the rack of lamb was perfect. Too full for desserts, although the display looks tempting.

That Dada bar is cool, and the food at Aspasia is pretty good too. I like the linguini dish in particular.

Crazy parisian decadence

Aspasia's food was well-cooked and beautifully presented. What really wowed me was Dada Bar and Lounge's Chocolate Sunday. The dessert buffet ($138 with tea and coffee) wasn't huge but everything was absolutely delicious and obviously pure quality. The jazz was pretty cool too. I could have stayed there all day!

Chef Roland's food is great, and the ambiance is quite funky and romantic.
