Slow service and arrogant management

I have read bad reviews of Al Dente but my friend invited me to go with her to Al Dente in the Great Eagle Centre, Wan Chai. All went well but the 3rd course never came and nobody cared to ask us or come close to our table. Waved and waved to get attention....and eventually the waiter came. No apologies offered. After the meal, the samer thing. No waiter in sight. I had to get up and go look for someone to bring our bill. I found an older Indian guy who I presume is the manager. He gave me the cold shoulder - almost looked like he first ignored me. I then told him how bad the service was and that I read at OpenRice.com that the service was bad, at which time he proclaimed that "we don't care about OpenRice". Well, it is time that he cares about his customers and read their feedback on OpenRice. While the food was acceptable, though nothing special, the service is almost non-existent. The worse is the attitude from the manager.
My recommendation. STAY AWAY. WE DON'T NEED BAD ATTITUDE AND POOR SERVICE IN A RESTAURANT.- How much did you spend?
