Wooloomooloo, the Aussie steakhouse just unveiled its sixth restaurant and most outstanding flagship in the heart of Kowloon. Wooloomooloo Prime is the newest and grandest premiere branch from the Wooloomooloo Group. They're taking things to new heights, literally.
Wooloomooloo Prime is situated in the penthouse suite of TST's newest shopping and dining hub, The One. Housed in 10,000 square feet of posh floor to ceiling windows, velvety lounge sofas, musky wooden logs, granite stained walls, and a breathtaking open terrace. The 270-degree view is as far as the eye can see. Peering across the harbour overlooking HK's dazzling metropolis, and glancing over the many majestic skyscrapers of Kowloon.

Steak and Then Some
Wooloomooloo Prime, best categorised as an Australian Steakhouse, has upgraded their menu with jewels dug from the waters of down under. Teasers like the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake; the Australian Lobster Cocktail served with Lemon Aioli, or the almighty Seafood Plateau with all the goods of the sea. The Disassembled Tuna Niçoise is all that in a Niçoise Salad but be it a surprise as it's, well, disassembled. The five components gracefully arranged on a rectangular platter each displaying a unique character of its own, that's refinement for ya. Or for those who love a great Steak Tartare, Wooloomooloo makes one for the elite. Hand chopped Australian prime beef garnished with a dollop of sour cream and caviar. How's that for a fantastic opening to an abundant meal?

Famed for their selection of beef, Wooloomooloo Prime has integrated a greater selection of cuts to satisfy even the most pretentious diner. The Premium Australian variety includes a selection of 70/150/200 days of grain fed, 2-3 weeks wet aged Black Angus. Grain fed apparently produces a more marbled product than Grass fed, while wet aged beef are vacuum packed and aged in its own juices which is more sanitary than dry ageing. The moisture of the beef is contained and flavours are enhanced.
For those who are avid for American beef, Wooloomooloo Prime proudly carries USA Meyers Natural Angus, in which cattle are raised free of hormones and antibiotics allowing them to mature and marble naturally and slowly; is Certified Humane; USDA Choice and Prime, translating premium beef with the highest degree of marbling; both Wet and Dry Aged (aged to the bone) varieties available. All steaks are prepared in a special high heat broiler that can reach 1800F rapidly to cook the steak to your liking without over doing it and losing all the beefy juices. Ultimately, the 12oz. steak arrives at the table blackened on the outside, whilst the rim of fat is sizzled to a smoky aroma, the inside is pink and tender to the bite. Nothing like having a good steak done right.
All steaks are served with four in-house sauce creations. Alongside your steak, a wide selection of sides is available to choose from.

A Little Bit For Everyone
There's a little bit of something for everyone at Wooloomooloo Prime, if steak is not your thing, other palate stealing dishes to choose from include the Beef Wellington, Kurobuta Pork Cutlet, and Grilled Tasmanian Salmon Fillet Nancy just to name a few.

Last but not least, if you've have room left fill it with something sweet. The desserts at Wooloomooloo Prime are no joke. The lovely, velvety smooth Wooloomooloo Cheesecake on a biscuit crust is an assembly of sweet revenge on a plate. The flavours are soft spoken and textures buttery smooth. For the chocoholic, look no further, but the best chocolate ending could very well be the Chocolate Marquise at Wooloomooloo Prime. Two stacked pieces of dark chocolate ganache circled with a light custard sauce and chopped pistachios. Heavenly.

If that's not enough to get you into TST's hottest wining and dining joint, then make note Wooloomooloo Prime and Wooloomooloo Steakhouse (Wanchai) are the only establishments in HK being appointed by the prestigious Champagne Bollinger, James Bond's champagne of choice, to be permitted to serve Champagne Bollinger as their house champagne.
