With whimsical interiors and fun-inspired feast, Kitchen at the funky W Hotel has always been a favorite for family and friends' get-togethers. A contemporary bistro showcasing sensational buffet displays and international and Pan-Asian a la carte delights, diners get to enjoy the breath-taking panoramic view of the Hong Kong harbour on one side, and the fantastical food preparation on the other at the open kitchen.

Upon exiting the lift, diners are greeted with a modern space with plush seating that is known as the "Living Room". To the left is a high-ceiling corridor filled with playful paintings and black and white holograms that leads to Kitchen. </p><p>Not the usual hotel restaurant one would expect, Kitchen is like a playground for adults and children alike. Stacks of bowls and dishes are on display, mimicking a Mad Hatter's tea party. The 5,000-egg wall inside the main dining area is an iconic pillar that catches the attention of all.

Kitchen offers breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets but the signature Bubbly Seafood Sunday Brunch is the most sought-after one and it has been a popular weekend fixture for both young and old since its launch. While the little ones are being tantalized with all the excitements, parents can kick back and enjoy the free-flowing Perrier-Jouët Champagne. Weekend does not get better than this.

As expected one would find classics from all over the world on the a la carte menu, such as Hainan Chicken Rice and Spaghetti and Angus Bolognese. However, why not give the creative dishes a try? The a la carte menu at Kitchen is divided into playful categories - Bites, Green, Liquid, Creative Labs, Fire, Wet, etc.

One of the signature pasta courses is the Carbonara, Pinot Noir and Pancetta but it is no ordinary carbonara dish. Al dente tagliatelle pasta is tossed with carbonara sauce that has been infused with pinot noir. Pancetta cubes are sprinkled on top, adding flavour, texture and colour to the dish.

A modern fusion creation is the Pizza Sichuan Beef. It is a combination of Italian pizza and Sichuan "Ma La" hot pot. Spicy tomatoes, dried chilli, enoki mushrooms, lotus roots and shaved beef are laid on the pizza dough before it goes into the oven. This is truly a contemporary interpretation of comfort food

For those who enjoy a bit of fun and excitement with their food, don't miss the Roasted Pork Belly and Foie Gras Injection.

An aesthetically-pleasing choice is the Sous Vide Poached Barramundi.
