Romantic Liaisons at Saigon at Stanley
On Valentine’s Day, take a short trip to Saigon at Stanley and enjoy an intimate dinner. This month, Executive Chef Tak amuses taste buds with a variety of flavour combinations in his 4-course Liaisons of Love Valentine’s Menu. ($338 per head) accompanied by Saigon at Stanley’s elegant charm and the serene atmosphere of Stanley Bay.
Begin your meal with Rock Pomelo and Papaya Salad, a piquant appetizer dressed with mint sauce followed by bites of Fresh Mango and Herbs Shrimp Paper Rolls. From cold starters, we warm up the night with Steamed “Ravioli”, a savoury mix of seafood and black mushroom delicately wrapped in soft pockets. Moving on, Chef Tak reveals his flavour-matching prowess in the selection of mains. The first dish is love from the sea as we serve Grilled Vietnamese King Prawns glazed with rich garlic
butter alongside a tender Sea Bass fillet that’s been simmered in caramel sauce. Chef Tak also brings the fine Roasted Lamb Chop and our best-selling Wok Fried Beef Tenderloin together in one plate. Now tell me, who could resist savouring this tender-juicy dish especially when balanced with green vegetables and a serving of hearty red rice?
To end, we leave you with a serving of Cinnamon Rice Pudding escorted by a fresh red bloom with compliments of the house.
