Romantic Seaside Escapades at Rocksalt

On Valentine’s Day, Rocksalt transforms into a relaxing love nest. Complementing the sentiments of this evening,
Executive Chef Cameron Gardiner prepares a Seaside Romance Valentine’s Menu, an 3-course dinner ($338 per person) that’s set to have you love-stoned.

For starters, one can choose to perk the taste buds with Red Peppered Tuna Carpaccio accompanied by
caper mayonnaise, black olives and crumbed quail egg or try the signature West Australian Crab Cake with a watercress and tomato salad drizzled with ginger garlic aioli. For mains, we recommend sinking your teeth into a silky Paperbark Barramundi Fillet. A bed of zesty lemon potatoes, eye-catching caponata, and black olive jus peaking beneath the flesh lends a fun splash of colour as it accentuates the scent of the burnt wood. The Australian Angus Beef Tenderloin, on the other hand, is succulent and juicy. With pieces of smoked eggplant, roasted deep-crimson beets and natural jus rounding up the list of flavours, this dish also makes one great candidate for main course.

Completing your seaside escapade, we end with two servings of Chef Gardiner’s Mango and Passion
Fruit Pavlova, accompanied by a complimentary rose for your beloved. Enjoy a taste of the tropics as
your revel in a beautiful bouquet of sliced mangoes, squeezed passion fruit pulp, sweet meringue, and
vanilla cream.

Note: This menu is available from February 10 – 14, 2012. Complimentary rose is available on February
14 only with bookings made at least two days in advance.
