Hunter's Wine Dinner
Sha Tin 18 has invited award-winning viticulturist Jane Hunter from New Zealand, to host a special wine-pairing dinner on 31 August. Jane is often called the “First Lady of New Zealand wines”, and her long list of awards and accolades include an OBE for service to the wine industry.
On this one-night-only occasion, guests will be able to pair award-winning wines with Chef Nelson Zou’s homestyle Dongguan dishes. All the wines served are competition winners.

Shredded red perch with soya bean sauce / Chilled spinach with spicy sesame sauce / Barbecued pork; Hunter’s Sauvignon Blanc 2009 Pan-fried cod with spiced salt / Wok-fried prawns and honey beans; Hunter’s Pinot Noir 2008 Traditional Peking duck; Hunter’s Gewurztraminer 2009 Pan-fried pork belly dumpling / Tossed mustard greens / Dongguan wok-fried rice vermicelli; Hunter’s Hukapapa Riesling Dessert Wine 2007 Hawthorn panna cotta / Candied longan peanut brownie / Sesame ice cream
The dinner is priced at $700 net per person.
