During the Easter long weekend The French Window introduces a nouveau Gallic dining concept experience, where the reconstruction of traditionally faithful French fare are met and treated with new aesthetic direction with a four-course Easter lunch menu. The lunch is priced at $430 per persons with a complimentary glass of Dehours & Fils Brut Grande Reserve NV.

On the menu is Organic ‘Marrant Egg’ Black Trumpette Cream, Green Asparagus, Cep Mushroom Cappuccino , followed by a choice of three mains: Sea Bass Risotto, Lamb Shoulder Confit, Coco au Jus, or Wagyu Beef Cheek “A La Bourguignonne”, Carrot Confite. Easter Cuisines

The Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway, and Prince each features specialty cuisines from different parts of the world in celebration of the Easter Holiday from 2-6 April.

During Easter, Cafe Marco presents “I’m Chocoholic” Afternoon Tea Buffet featuring 71% Ocumare Black Forest Modern, 64% Tobago Caviar Cream, 53% Equador Coco Chocolate Passion Fruit, 41% Tokelu Lemongrass Praline Crunch and a complimentary Mini-Chocolate Fondue for each table. Cafe Marco will also provide teaching classes for kids, as well as a play corner featuring popular “Wii Sports Resort” video games.

Coffee Mill celebrates Easter with Spanish Fiesta dishes as highlights of the restaurant’s lunch and dinner buffet. Tasty fare includes Seafood Paella; Omelet; Grilled Snapper with Salsa Verde; Braised Pork Chop with Pimento Chili; Baby Lamb Chops with Apricot Sauce; Braised Calamari in Squid Ink Sauce; and a complimentary Australian Jumbo Scallop for each dinner diner. For Easter, Coffee Mill will offer dessert making classes for kids and popular “Sony Play Station” video game Final Fantasy XIII for all to enjoy.

A MO Easter

From floating eggs to the Easter bunny, Mandarin Oriental's Easter program has something for all. The Clipper Lounge and Mandarin Grill will offer special menus and events, while Easter eggs, cakes, and chocolates will be available at The Mandarin Cake Shop.

The Clipper Lounge will host a “Chocolate Enchantment” afternoon tea priced at $228 for one and $388 for two, while a mini buffet is complimentary for children under 12. Featuring a large range of chocolate goodies, the spread is available every afternoon from 2 to 5 April and includes children’s egg painting sessions with the Easter Bunny along with decorations such as “floating Easter Eggs”.

Mandarin Grill provides a typically elaborate Easter Brunch on 4 April, priced at $888 for adults and $450 for children, the brunch includes unlimited champagne and gourmet delicacies as well as Easter specialities.

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s cake artist, Bob Tay, demonstrates his dedication to his work with a display of Easter-themed cakes at The Mandarin Cake Shop. The centrepiece of the display will be a giant “Hong Kong” Easter egg nearly two metres tall. Hand-made chocolates, eggs, bunnies and other sweet Easter necessities will be available for sale from 15 March.

Easter @ Intercon

SPOON, THE STEAK HOUSE and Harbourside will be featuring special dishes on their menus over the Easter holidays.

Spoon is presenting a six-course dinner featuring lamb specialty dishes from 2-5 April priced at $988 per person, and on easter Sunday the restaurant presents a family style Easter lunch showcasing traditional French regional delicacies. The lunch begins with a buffet "Campagnard" style. For the main course, enjoy a selection of traditional "Cocotte" (casserole) dishes plus a lamb carving station. For dessert, visit the Pastry kitchen for a selection of desserts and French pastries. The lunch is inclusive of a welcome glass of Alain Ducasse Champagne, followed by wine with lunch plus fresh juices and freshly brewed coffee or tea. It is priced at $558 per adult?and $368 per child 12 years old and under from 12:00noon - 2:30pm.

THE STEAK HOUSE Easter Sunday Lunch includes a Salad Bar, soup of the day, followed by a choice of main course (with a selection of ten charcoal grilled items including Milk Fed French Baby Lamb). There is a dessert buffet, plus complimentary wine by the glass featuring a selection of three white and three red wines.

At Harbourside enjoy an Easter Sunday Champagne Brunch featuring free-flowing Moet Chandon brut champagne, wine, beer, fresh juices and soft drinks. In addition to traditional buffet fare the Easter Sunday Brunch features a carving station with Roasted Whole Baby Lamb, with a selection of other lamb dishes, including lamb curry, featured on the buffet.

Easter Fun

The Royal Pacific Hotel will host a series of culinary offers and “Easter Fun” activities for grownups and kids alike.

A festive feast buffet featuring Easter themed dishes will be on offer at is Café on the PARK, Pierside will offer a romantic four-course seafood dinner priced at $328 per person with a special buy-one-get-one-free offer during Easter as well as an Easter gift for each diner. For those who fancy the hot and spicy, Satay Inn’s set dinner for four to six is perfect.

In addition, Café on the PARK will morph into a fantasy playground where children will get to play games and win prizes. During the lunch, afternoon tea and dinner sessions, the clown will stage an interactive magic show while the Easter Bunny will be present for photographs. There will also be Easter Egg lessons for kids to create their own colourful eggs to take home.

On 4 April, a special art jamming session will be held for guests to flex their creative muscles and make fun art. Patrons of Café on the PARK’s Easter lunch buffet will be able to join the session for $120. Professional instructors, and all materials and paints will be provided. Irish Beef

Steik World Meats is presenting Irish grass-fed Charolais beef from 12 March to 30 April. This prime beef bred by Irish Hereford Prime has been awarded the AOC medal of excellence by the French Academy of Meat. Executive chef Brian Moore has selected the sirloin and rib eye and dry-aged them, with 12oz and 14oz sizes available. In addition, receive a complimentary Irish drink with every main course ordered.

The Lounge has introduced a French Apéritif promotion. Premium French wines, beer, cocktails and a snack buffet are available from 6:30-9:30pm every Thursday.
