From 13 to 16 February, Café Kool presents auspicious Chinese New Year lunch and dinner buffet highlighting traditional Chinese cuisine including Abalone Congee and Turtle Consommé. Guests can also indulge in free-flowing wine for only $168 per person, free-flowing champagne at $218 per person and free-flowing Chinese New Year cocktail and mocktail at $88 per person. The price for the festive lunch buffet starts from $288 per adult and $238 per child or senior citizen. The price for the festive dinner buffet starts from $458 per adult and $398 per child or senior citizen. From 14 to 20 February, for every four diners, a red packet will be given, which contains prizes to be redeemed on the next visit to Café Kool. The prizes include vouchers valued at $1,000, $500 and $300, and a bottle of red wine.

Kowloon Shangri-La has come up with a range of romantic offerings for Valentine's.
Angelini is serving a six-course dinner at $1,288 per person. For an additional $300 per person, guests can delight in six glasses of wine, which are rated at more than 88 points by Wine Spectator or Robert Parker, or a bottle of rosé champagne, to complement the dishes. The set dinner features Country Bread with Burrata Cheese and Sea Urchin; Slow-cooked Mediterranean Swordfish with Wild Oregano, Pistachios on Red Bell Peppers Purée, Lemon Olive Oil and Mint; Home-made Chitarra Spaghetti with Oyster, Guanciale and Champagne Sabayon; Seared Blue Eye Cod Fish with Mediterranean Clams, Potato and Octopus Tomato Sauce; Braised Wagyu Cheeks with Dark Chocolate on Spinach and Forest Fruit Sauce; and ends on a sweet note with Napoleon with Rose Petal Crème Brûlée, Bitter-sweet Chocolate Sauce and Frosty Petals.
Shang Palace is offering a tasting menu priced at only $1,800 for two persons, the highlights of the menu include Sautéed King Prawn with Braised Yunnan Ham and Lotus Seeds in Honey Sauce; Braised Shark’s Fin and Bird’s Nest with Seafood Soup; Braised Fresh Whole Abalone with Seasonal Vegetables; Pan Fried Foie Gras with Diced Wagyu Beef; Poached Chinese Kale with Giant Mushroom in Chicken Broth; and Braised Inaniwa Noodles in Abalone Sauce with Steamed Shrimp Dumpling. The set menu includes a glass of Moët et Chandon champagne for each diner.
The Lobby Lounge is an ideal place for guests to relax and enjoy live music on Valentine’s Day. Guests can enjoy a Valentine’s Day afternoon tea buffet at $218 per adult and $168 per child, or tea set at $168 per person on 13 and 14 February. On 14 February, from 6 to 9:30 pm, guests can also indulge in a dinner buffet spread at $238 per adult or $338 per adult including one glass of rosé champagne per person, and $188 per child.
At Tapas Bar, guests can enjoy specially created Valentine’s Day cocktails and mocktails in the comfort of the bar or under the stars against a harbour view background. For a bubbly celebration on 14 February, guests can immerse themselves in free-flowing Moët et Chandon Rosé Impérial plus 10 grams of caviar at $600 per person from 5 to 9 pm. Guests can also toast to the special occasion with a complimentary second bottle of rosé champagne when they buy one bottle at $888 per bottle.

Hong Kong's new Aussie-style bistro & bar Coast in SoHo is serving a gastronomic six-course Valentine's Day degustation menu priced at $530 or $770 with matching champagne, wines and port. The romantic celebration, which begins with an aphrodisiac starter of oysters served three ways, natural, Kilpatrick and crème fraiche with caviar - paired perfectly with Moet Imperial Brut Vintage NV champagne.
A seafood specialty, South Australian lobster tails in lemon tarragon butter, follows paired with the fragrant Cape Mentelle semillon sauvignon blanc 2008. Next is the slow roasted duck ravioli with pepper & truffle cream sauce paired with Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon followed by a main course of fillet of spring lamb with "paysanne" root vegetables - paired with a full bodied Cape Mentelle shiraz 2007. A dessert of warm chocolate pot with pistachio biscotti & fresh strawberries is paired with the award winning Cape Mentelle Zinfandel 2005. Landmark Mandarin is celebrating Valentine's in a number of ways. Lunch at Amber includes rose petals and pink champagne in addition to its popular wine lunch, with wine pairings by sommelier Patrick Frawley. A sic-course Valentine’s menu with pink champagne and seven wines is priced at $648.
On the evening of the 14th Amber will try to create the perfect romantic atmosphere with warm candles, soft lights, red rose petals and soft jazz sounds. There are two menus to choose from: Five-course Early Love Bird menu for $988 per person, served from 6pm to 7pm in Tian and Di private rooms, for those wanting to enjoy a romantic night out after dinner; and eight-course Valentine’s signature menu priced at $2,088 per person served after 7pm.
MO Bar is offering a romantic Valentine’s afternoon tea throughout the weekend. For an intimate dinner reserve a table for two at SPOON by Alain Ducasse, for a six-course dinner menu on both 13, 14 February priced $1,588 per person or $2,388 with wine pairings. The special menu begins with Ravioli of crab "Tourteau", sea urchin, followed by Fillet of Suzuki with shellfish and caviar. For the main course, indulge in Angus Beef Tenderloin served in puff pastry, "Périgueux" truffle sauce. Served next is Aged Saint-Félix cheese with toasted country bread. To cleanse the palette, Citrus fruits with fragrant jus, Campari granite. For dessert, Chocolate-raspberry Fondant Heart.
As an enticing alternative, try SPOON's special Valentine's Day Lunch on 14 February. Free-flowing Rose Champagne, plus the sommelier's choice of red and white wines will accompany a special menu featuring traditional French regional delicacies. The lunch begins with a buffet "Campagnard" style, featuring traditional French terrines, marinated salmon, cured ham sliced from the bone, a selection of gourmet French cheeses with condiments, salads and freshly baked French baguettes. For the main course, there is a selection of traditional "Cocotte" (casserole) dishes. For dessert, take a visit inside the Pastry kitchen for a tempting selection of Valentine's desserts, including a special Chocolate Corner. The lunch is priced at $688 per person or $1,288 per couple (inclusive of a special gift created by pastry chef Yannick Oppermann).
NOBU is celebrating Valentine's Day the entire weekend. NOBU executive chef Oyvind Naesheim has created a special eight-course Kokoro Dinner featuring Foie Gras with Umeshu Jelly & Caviar, Menuki & Uni "New Style" Sashimi with Truffle; Meji Maguro Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing, Lobster Tempura Rose Amazu Ponzu and Saga Beef Port Teriyaki. On 12, 13 February, this is followed by a Sushi Assortment and on 14 February with a special "Sushi Love Box". Next is Clear Soup Crystal Bay Prawn; and finally, for dessert, "Flowers of Love" (Hibiscus Flower & Cheese Mousse). The Pre-Valentine's Kokoro Menu is $1,288 per person and $1,588 on 14 February.
For a "hearty" meal, THE STEAK HOUSE winebar + grill presents a four-course dinner on 13 February at $1,288 per person inclusive of the elaborate Salad Bar or Salmon Roulade / Salmon Tartare (with caviar and citrus sour cream), followed by Crustacean Consommé and a choice of either Australian Grade 9 Wagyu Striploin (8 oz.) or U.S. Filet Mignon (6 oz) and Lobster Tail (8 oz), served with Fried Truffle Potato Box, White Asparagus and Oven-dried Tomatoes. For dessert, "Cotton Heart" (Ginger and Lime Chocolate Mousse, Mango and Strawberries). Alternatively choose from the a la carte menu. On Valentine's Night, indulge in Harbourside's spectacular buffet dinner with abundant seafood & sushi, an array of international dishes and a decadent dessert buffet ($738 per adult from 5:30pm till 8:00pm and $838 per adult from 8:30pm till 11:00pm), inclusive of a "Bellini" and a box of chocolates.
Yan Toh Heen is presenting a five-course "Fat Choy" menu at $988 per person or alternatively select from the extensive a la carte menu of Cantonese specialties.

The meal ends on a sweet note with a rose chocolate and spicy parfait. The dinner is priced at $588 per person. Osteria Ristorante Italiano is out to prove that the revelry never ends in Hong Kong! From 8 February to 31 March will transform itself into a Venetian Carnival with unique costumes, masks, decorations, a special a la carte menu and cocktails, culminating with a boisterous Venetian Carnival dinner on 26 February. Chef Michele Camolei promises to transport guests to the heart Venice with nine a la carte plates specially designed for this sure-fire hit celebration. In celebration of its 30th anniversary and 5th year as a listed company, winemaker Dynasty Fine Wines Group Limited, is partnering up with Chinese restaurant, Dynasty at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong, to offer food and wine aficionados a dinner tasting menu throughout January and February.
The “Dynasty Wine & Gourmet Tasting Menu” is priced at $5,800 per table of six and includes nine courses, each served with a specially selected Dynasty wine or vintage to best complement. The menu has been designed to incorporate luxurious ingredients, taking traditional dishes and giving them extra wow factor. To start, is Braised shark’s fin with Chinese cabbage in a mini clay pot and Braised whole abalone & goose webs with vegetable, paired with Dynasty Medium Dry White, N.V. Among the dishes that follow is a selection of traditional Cantonese home-made specialties including light and fresh Sautéed garoupa fillet & fresh lily bulbs with black bean sauce, and Poached spinach with mini wontons in supreme soup. Both are paired with Dynasty Chardonnay Reserve, 2006.
Stronger flavoured dishes like Roasted baby pigeon and Stir-fried diced Angus beef tenderloin are paired with Dynasty Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (Royal Selection), 2006. The menu ends within closed with Stewed noodles with dried shrimp roe in abalone sauce and Deep-fried egg fritters; and rounded off with a dessert of Deep-fried egg fritters and Sweetened almond cream with egg white.

The Romagna Dinner is priced at $298, for four-courses. Diners begin the meal with fresh tuna tartar, followed by mixed seafood risotto. Skewers of prawn and calamari are served for secondi, while a selection of mini desserts completes the meal. The menu is available throughout January.
On 14 and 27 February (Chinese Valentine's Day), Gvsto is offering a menu priced at $588 per couple. The three-course dinner includes octopus salad with potato and mixed fruit and citrus sauce, followed by eggplant lasagne with buffalo mozzarella and pesto. Tropical valentine's mousse is served for dessert. Early bird diners who leave before 8pm receive an additional 20% off their meal.
