Michelin star chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten hands-on at Mercato
Date Published : 18 May 2017
Join Mercato this weekend 20th – 21st May in celebrating their 1st anniversary since launching in Hong Kong with great fanfare last year. Tucked away on the 8th floor of California Tower in the lively LKF district, Mercato has certainly lived up to our expectations since first opening its doors, introducing Hong Kong to some of the finest Italian cuisine to be found this side of the Asia Pacific.

On Saturday evening 20th May, 3 Michelin star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will be on hand to personally oversee Mercato’s special anniversary tasting menu revealed on the night, which has been carefully curated by Jean-Georges alongside his own protégé, Mercato chef du cuisine Anthony Burd. What better way to toast the occasion than to raise a glass of G.H. Mumm champagne, included with the Anniversary menu. (HK$788+10% per person).

On Sunday afternoon 21st May, sample some of Chef Jean-Georges’ own plat du jour brunch offerings tailored specially for the celebratory weekend. You can enjoy the unique brunch dishes along side Mercato’s signature brunch sweets including Italian staples like their Cinnamon Sticky Buns with Cream Cheese Frosting (HK $ 78), or their wildly popular Buttermilk Pancakes, served with Bananas and House Made Nutella (HK $128). Don’t miss out on your chance to dine with one of the veritable heavyweights of the Michelin world. Book your table today!
